    Future Racing at Hobby Central

If you haven't heard, Hobby Central is moving out of the mall real soon. We are currently negotiating a new lease on a new location. One of the things we are discussing is the possibility of bringing back parking lot racing. If this works out we expect to start out with a basic program. I'm not sure what we will run as I have several things I have to take into consideration. One of my main considerations is that the racing has to support our stores and the stores have to be able to support the racing. I would like to have a basic class for Hobby Central's customers, something box stock. One of the most successful racing classes I ever had at my tracks was the HPI Super class and that was because it was box stock RTR's with the only hop up allowed being a 1hp or less .15 side exhaust engine. I'm not opposed to running a touring class and an oval class. There is the possibility of an offroad track, but that is up in the air right now. I would really like to hear some input.

Bill, you can count me in as an off-road racer if the track will be Nitro friendly.

I would be interested in off-road electric. Short course and 2wd mod buggy. Any ideas on location?
