We are proud members of the Northwest Florida  Modellers and the Eglin Aeromodellers clubs.

• We are flying combat at the county model park (Jamesville Rd.) on Saturdays and Sundays.   Currently we are using rules based upon the Radio Control Combat Associations provisional  Limited B class.  Right now everyone is flying a Lanier Slasher .30 size combat aircraft with an O.S. .25LA engine and a 10x4 prop.  Any aircraft that meets the specs for the Limited B class is ok. Call the store and ask for info. This is open to anyone that is a club member or guest.  I will post photos/video and details soon.  We are abiding by all AMA rules and hardhats are required and available from Hobby Central with or without custom decals.

       R/C Racing

• Simon Properties the owners of University Mall ordered us to remove the rc track by Feb 28 2007.  Hobby Central complied with this demand and the track has been dismantled and the drivers stand has been removed.  I believe this is due to the renovations that the mall is about to commence.  The mall will be demolished in 2009.  Hobby Central is currently looking at several new locations.  We will be relocating and will post when and where, as soon as we know..  I am considering indoor mini/micro racing, especially with the new LOSI Slider
